BLACKPINK’s Jisoo reveals the names their group could’ve debuted with; from Baby Monster to PinkPunk
When it comes to the Blackpink girls, their popularity and fandom simply has no end. The debut album Square One, Whistle and Boombayah, was a huge success, leading them to be the limelight’s face.
One of Blackpink’s girls, Jisoo is winning hearts over the internet with her fashion and looks. Besides singing, Jisoo has also ventured into acting. She was seen in a few advertisements and had a cameo in the fantasy drama Arthdal Chronicles.
However, are you aware that the group could have debuted with another name and not Blackpink? Well, as per reports in Korea Boo, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo revealed some names that their group could’ve debuted with. Before they were graced with their current name, they nearly debuted as “PinkPunk.” Also to keep in line with their theme of pairing softness and aggression, Jisoo also shared the name “Baby Monster,” which could be seen in one of their early teaser images on shopping bags. The name that shocked them all was “Magnum.”
