Lyney and Lynette have been added in update 4.0 alongside the Fontaine region, generating a lot of hype among Genshin Impact fans. The twins share a unique detail in their voice lines, both calling out the other’s name when they die from fall damage. Fans suggest that similar voice lines should be added for the Aether and Lumine, who are also siblings in the game’s main quest.

Genshin Impact fans have noticed an interesting detail about the popular twins, Lyney and Lynette. These two characters have been added in update 4.0 which also introduced the long-awaited Fontaine region. Players who want to add them to their roster can do so since they are featured on the Limited Character Banner alongside another five-star character Yelan and two four-stars, Barbara and Bennett.

Lyney and Lynette were announced in 2020 in one of the game’s earliest story teasers which is why there is a lot of hype around these two characters. Genshin Impact Players can dive deeper into their story which is in the main spotlight along with Freminet in the ongoing Fontaine arc.

A Reddit user by the name of suzithecat has shared an adorable detail about Lyney and Lynette regarding their voice lines. Every Genshin Impact character has multiple unique voice lines which reflect their overall character. While some of these voice lines can tell a story, most of them are reserved for special in-game activities such as defeating an enemy, sprinting, or dying. The Reddit post has pointed out that Lyney and Lynette use very similar voice lines when they die from fall damage. In their last moments, both characters call for the other’s name. This small detail attracted a lot of attention in the community as the post reached over 3k upvotes on Genshin Impact’s official subreddit.

Many fans in the comment section claim that HoYoverse should add similar voice lines to the Aether and Lumine since they are also siblings. Genshin Impact’s main quest is actually to find their long-lost sibling after they got separated by the mysterious god known as the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.

Some players have stated that the ongoing quest line about Lyney and Lynette is probably the best introduction to a new major region the game has had so far. When it comes to their power on the field, Lyney is a skillful bow user who can control the Pyro element, and he’s best used in the main DPS role.

His playstyle revolves around the special Charged Attack which means that to get his damage numbers to the next level, players should try to get their hands on Lyney’s signature bow, The First Great Magic, which is featured on Genshin Impact’s current Weapon Banner. Lynnette is an Anemo sword user who’s a great fit for the extremely popular National team composition where she can play the support role for three sub-DPS units, Bennett, Xiangling, and Xingqiu.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
