Genshin Impact Leak Details 3.8 Genius Invokation TCG Cards
A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed detailed descriptions and effects for each of the new cards set to arrive in the Genius Invokation TCG in version 3.8. The TCG minigame introduced in version 3.3 of the HoYoverse RPG saw regular updates with a plethora of new cards added and new ways to play. This week’s version 3.7 update brought a huge addition to the digital card game, bringing 13 new character cards and over 60 cards in total. Now players are getting more information about the next wave of support for the TCG.
The major Genius Invokation TCG update during version 3.7 comes along with a new event focused on the Genshin Impact TCG. The update’s main event, titled “Duel! The Summoner’s Summit”, takes players to a massive in-game tournament known as the “King of Summoners Grand Prize”. Players will be able to earn a variety of rewards, including Primogems and an event-exclusive four-star weapon during the event. Now, Genius Invokation TCG leaks are teasing future content for the card game.
A new update to the Genshin Impact Project Amber repository has revealed information about the three new characters joining the TCG in Candace, Yanfei, and Kazuha. Candace’s Elemental Ability grants 2 points of Shield on cast while adding a pop to 3 Hydro damage on her next ability while her Burst increases Normal Attack damage and empowers Hydro attacks. Yanfei’s abilities deal Pyro damage with her ability and burst attaching special buffs for bonus damage on charged attacks. Kazuha features a unique mechanic that modulates the element of his Skill and Burst damage.

The update will also introduce several new Talent and Equipment cards added to the card pool. Master Zhang comes as the newest Companion card, reducing the cost of Equipment cards with higher boosts for more equipped characters. Fruit of Fulfillment adds a unique effect to weapon cards, allowing players to draw two cards when equipped. Lights of the Court and Covenant of Rock come as new Arcane Legend cards, reducing weapon and artifact costs and generating elemental data, respectively. Rhythm of the Big Dream also reduces the cost of playing Weapon or Artifact cards.
Much like the game’s TCG, Genshin Impact is expected to grow substantially in the coming months. Recent leaks have revealed that a new limited-time region dubbed “Penumbra” is set to arrive in the game during version 3.8, along with the long-awaited Eula reprise. The region is expected to act as a precursor to the Fontaine region, which is believed to be released in the game during the upcoming version 4.0 update. Genshin Impact base game and Genius Invokation TCG fans seem to have a lot in store for future updates.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5 and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
