Job description: A growing planning and property consultancy is looking for a Senior Planner ready to step up to Associate level to join their team in the North West.


This role would see you take on a number of different roles. The company work with a number of high profile investors which would see you work on developments across the retail, commercial and luxury residential sectors. The work is nationwide but predominantly in the North West, London and the South East. There is no work winning expectation in this role, instead you’ll manage the planning process from start to completion, while mentoring junior planners who will be providing you support. As your role grows, you will take on more managerial responsibilities and develop your client contacts in networking opportunities.


This consultancy work across a number of sectors surrounding planning, land and property. The small team work closely together in modern offices (Covid safely) in a fast-paced environment. They have enjoyed market success consistently over the past two years and are well set to build upon this now, making it a particularly exciting time to join them.

Experience Required

  • As a Senior Planner you’ll have 3-5 years post qualification (MRTPI), though more experienced individuals will also be considered (5-8 years).
  • The role is office based but some flexibility can be provided (reduced hours, flexible hours).
  • Strong DC background, with some understanding of policy.
  • Private sector experience preferred, but public sector backgrounds will be considered. The successful candidate will have a commercially minded attitude.
