Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera launched in India, price set under Rs 3,50,000


By Ankita Chakravarti: Nikon has unveiled its newest powerful DSLR mirrorless camera launched in India. It features a 45.7-megapixel full-frame sensor and EXPEED 7 image processor, which deliver stunning image quality in a variety of conditions. The camera can shoot at up to 120 frames per second and record 8K video at up to 30 frames per second. It is also equipped with a variety of advanced features, including 5.5 stops of in-body image stabilization, 49-point autofocus system with subject tracking, a 3.69-million-dot electronic viewfinder, and 3.2-inch tilting touchscreen LCD.

The Z8 is aimed at professional videographers and photographers who look for high image quality and performance in their devices. It is a versatile camera that can be used for a variety of shooting scenarios, from landscapes and portraits to sports and wildlife.

Nikon Z8: Price and availability

The Nikon Z 8 camera body will be available from May 25, 2023 at Rs 3,43,995.00 across India at Nikon outlets. As a part of a limited period inaugural offer, Nikon India is offering freebies- ProGrade Digital 128GB CFexpress Card and additional Rechargeable Li-ion Battery (EN-EL15c ) with Nikon Z 8.

Nikon Z8 comes with a host of features including HLG(HEIF) format for 10-bit still images, High-res zoom, Skin softening, Portrait impression balance and enhanced AI-algorithm for Auto-focus. The HLG(HEIF) format for 10-bit still images allows you to capture images with a wider range of colors and tones, resulting in more realistic and vibrant photos, the High-res zoom feature allows you to zoom in on your subject without losing any detail. There is another feature designed especially for skin tones called the Skin softening, it helps to smooth out skin imperfections, making your subjects look their best. Then there is the Portrait impression balance, which feature allows you to control the look and feel of your portraits, from the brightness and contrast to the warmth and saturation. Lastly, there is the Enhanced AI-algorithm for Auto-focus, which helps the camera to quickly and accurately focus on your subject, even in challenging lighting conditions.
