Star Wars Jedi: Survivor offers a wide range of collectibles that can be difficult to find. Among them, golden chests are particularly elusive, as they contain valuable weapons and cosmetics and are often hidden behind difficult puzzles or enemies. This guide, however, lays out the locations of all 12 gold chests and explains how to easily loot them.

What are Gold Chests?

Also called Super Chests, Golden Chests are special shiny loot boxes in Jedi: Survivor that provide players with full sets of outfits, lightsabers, and blasters as a reward. In contrast, regular cosmetic chests only offer shards of these items.

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, there are a total of 12 Golden Chests distributed evenly between Koboh and Jedha.

Scrapper’s Clothes Chest

To obtain the Scrapper Outfit, players will need to loot the chest in the basement of Pyloon’s Saloon, next to Cal’s bed.

Santari Khri’s Lightsaber Chest

There is a cave system in Untamed Downs that is blocked by rocks. Players will need to lure some of the nearby Roller Mines into the cave and throw one at the obstacles so they can access Santari Khri’s golden lightsaber chest.

Poncho Outfit Chest

The golden chest for the Poncho Outfit is in Fort Kah’Lin. To find him, players must first stand on the platform at the top of the main fort, then fight the Spawn of Oggdo in the cave.

Hunter’s Lightsaber Chest

Following the Finding the Canyon’s Secret rumor, players will be able to ride the giant friendly creature on Abandoned Dam to access the Winding Ravine area. From there, they must take the parkour path to the right and ride the Relter behind the Gorocco to obtain the hunter’s lightsaber.

Fast Destroyer’s Chest

In Rambler’s Reach Outpost, players first need to open the metal door near the Hunter’s Quarry and solve the orb puzzle inside. Then they must transfer the purple beam to the metal house covered in Koboh Matter. This will blow up the house and expose the golden chest with the Quickdraw Blaster.

Swoop Blaster Chest

Following the Check on the Jawa Settlement rumor, players will find a generator on the porch of one of the houses in Rambler’s Reach Outpost. By shooting a shock dart at this generator and solving the rooftop puzzle, they can open the locked door below and obtain the Swoop Blaster.

Solar Chest BD-1

Inside the Veiled Hangar in Jedha, players must take the elevator to the second floor and enter the room where a Speeder Bike is kept. They can then loot the golden chest with the BD-1 Solar skin in the corner.

Jedi clothing chest

To obtain the Jedi Outfit, players will need to locate the chamber in the Trailhead Pantheon and wall-run to the secret opening to loot the Super Chest. (This area can be found during the quest where Cal gains his Dash ability.)

Industrial Chest BD-1

At the beginning of the Path of Persistence, players can grab the balloons on the right and climb the cliff with the BD-1 Industrial Skin Super Chest.

Skeleton Key Blaster Chest

On the monastery walls, players must follow the parkour path through the ruins to reach the broken bridge. The golden chest containing the Skeleton Key Blaster can be found at the other end of this path.

Lightsaber Chest Eno Cordova

After completing the Path of Restoration, Conviction, and Persistence, players must climb the stone elevator on the roof of Wayfinder’s Tomb to obtain the Eno Cordova Lightsaber.

Cere Junda Lightsaber Chest

Upon completing Chapter 5 of the game, the golden chest containing Cere Junda’s lightsaber appears in the Veiled Hangar in Jedha — next to the Mantis.
