The Sims 4: Horse Ranch – How to Train Horses
Training Horses is a big part of the Horse Ranch Game Pack in The Sims 4. Players will help their pet level up in four different skills using a variety of methods. Some abilities are easier to manage than others, while some require practice using items like barrels.
Caring for a horse is manageable in The Sims 4 and Simmers can try to train the animal to earn extra Simoleons by selling a well-trained horse or winning competitions.
How to Train Horses in The Sims 4
To fully train a horse in The Sims 4, players must pay attention to four different abilities; Temperament, Agility, Jumping and Stamina. Each has its own training method, as well as its own special equipment.
On the other hand, if Simmers are too lazy or don’t want to spend time developing Skills, approach the Community Council and send the Horse for training by paying Simoleons.
How to increase the level of temperament
Effect: The Temperament Skill allows Horses to communicate better with other Sims and pets, and the rider is less likely to be knocked over while riding.
The Temperament Skill is arguably the easiest Skill to level up in The Sims 4, as it requires little to no effort. Basically, any type of socialization will build Temperament Skills. Even grooming the horse, such as brushing the mane or cleaning the hooves, will work to level up the skill.
A high temper skill helps in the following competitions; Show Jumping, Western Pleasure and Ultimate Horse Championship.
How to increase agility level
Effect: Agility affects how quickly and easily the Horse moves.
High agility allows the horse to compete in Barrel Racing, Western Pleasure and Ultimate Horse Championship.
In addition to sending the Horse to train with specialists for Simoleons, Simmers can use Horse Barrel and train the Horse with one of these options:

How to level up by jumping
Effect: Jumping obviously affects how well and high a horse can jump.
The High Jump Skill allows the Horse to participate in Show Jumping, Endurance Racing and Ultimate Horse Championship competitions.
When training the Horse Jump, the Horse will go back and forth until a barbell drops to the ground. Players need to dismount, fix the bar, then mount again to continue training. There are several options to choose from while training your pet in Salto do Cavalo:

How to Increase Endurance Level
Effect: Stamina basically shows how resilient a Horse is; the higher the Skill, the less fatigued it becomes.
Upon reaching a sufficient level of Endurance, the Horse is eligible for Endurance Race, Show Jumping and Ultimate Horse Championship competitions.
Endurance Skill is improved by taking rides while riding the Horse. Simmers will also benefit as it increases Riding Skill. There are three types of rides and one unlocks at a certain level:
