An easy way to naturally incorporate Sun Pumpkins into a dish in Tears of the Kingdom is by cooking some Sunny Vegetable Curry. The recipe requires Hylian Rice, Goron Spice, and usually any kind of vegetable. However, to gain the Sunny status effect, players will need to use a Sun Pumpkin as their chosen vegetable.
If the player needs more Gloom Recovery, they can add more than one Sun Pumpkin to the dish, which will increase the amount of lost hearts they will recover.9 Sunny Veggie Rice Balls
The Sunny Veggie Rice Balls recipe in Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best ways to regain lost Hearts from Gloom. This recipe is perfect for players looking to use Sun Pumpkins, as the dish requires a vegetable and Hylian Rice.

The Sunny Cheesy Omelet recipe not only sounds delicious, but it also recovers up to 8 Hearts lost from Gloom. However, this dish does require quite a few different ingredients. Players will need some Hateno Cheese, a Bird Egg, Rock Salt, and one or two Sundelions.
Hateno Cheese is first made available at the Hateno Pasture once the player has completed the Letter to Koyin side quest. Following this, the cheese can be bought from various vendors across Hyrule, or players can trade with Koyin for it.
