10 Sunny Vegetable Curry Tears of the Kingdom Sunny Vegetable Curry

An easy way to naturally incorporate Sun Pumpkins into a dish in Tears of the Kingdom is by cooking some Sunny Vegetable Curry. The recipe requires Hylian Rice, Goron Spice, and usually any kind of vegetable. However, to gain the Sunny status effect, players will need to use a Sun Pumpkin as their chosen vegetable.

If the player needs more Gloom Recovery, they can add more than one Sun Pumpkin to the dish, which will increase the amount of lost hearts they will recover.

Hateno Cheese is first made available at the Hateno Pasture once the player has completed the Letter to Koyin side quest. Following this, the cheese can be bought from various vendors across Hyrule, or players can trade with Koyin for it. Bird Eggs can be purchased from multiple shops, including High Spirits Produce and East Wind in Hateno Village. Rock Salt can be found either by mining or bought from stores in Goron City and Gerudo Town. Sundelions can commonly be found growing on the Sky Isles.

Sunny Wheat Bread is one of the more simple recipes in Tears of the Kingdom. As a base, it only requires some Tabantha Wheat and Rock Salt. However, to add some Gloom Recovery to the dish, players can include between one and three Sundelions. This will help them to recover up to 9 Gloom Hearts.

Tabantha Wheat can be purchased from various shops around Hyrule, including the Gerudo Town Cooking Stall and The Slippery Falcon in Rito Village. Players can find Rock Salt whilst mining, or they can purchase it from certain vendors in Goron City and Gerudo Town. Most commonly, Sundelions grow on the Sky Isles.

Tears of the Kingdom players may already be familiar with the Sunny Veggie Porridge recipe, as it’s a key component in the Gloom-Borne Illness side quest. This specific variant requires some Hylian Rice, Fresh Milk, and one to three Sundelions.

Players can purchase Hylian Rice from a few different stores, some of which include the General Store in Lookout Landing, the Cooking Stall in Gerudo Town, and the General Store in Zora’s Domain. Locating Fresh Milk is pretty easy, players just need to head to the shop in Lookout Landing. It can also be acquired at Hateno Pasture by exchanging some acorns for some Fresh Milk. The recipe for some Sunny Fried Egg and Rice is pretty simple. Players will need some Hylian Rice, a Bird Egg, and one to three Sundelions. Once cooked, this dish will recover up to 9 Gloom Hearts.

It’s possible to find Bird Eggs in tall trees, or they can be bought from various shops, such as High Spirits Produce and East Wind. Hylian Rice can be bought from multiple vendors in Hyrule, such as the General Store in Lookout Landing, the Cooking Shop in Gerudo Town, and the General Store in Zora’s Domain. Sundelions can be found around some Zonai ruin sites but can easily be found on most Sky Isles too.

Goron Spice can easily be purchased from the General Store in Goron City, whereas Sundelions are very common and easy to find on the Sky Isles.

The Sunny Steamed Fish dish in Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best for recovering Gloom Hearts. This recipe itself is rather straightforward, players will just need to combine any fish and one to four Sun Pumpkins. It’s important that the fish doesn’t have any effects when cooked, as this will cancel out the Sun Pumpkins. The more Sun Pumpkins the player uses, the more Hearts they will be able to recover.

Fish can be found in most bodies of water in Hyrule, or they can be purchased from certain vendors. Sun Pumpkins will be available to purchase in Hateno Village once the player has completed The Mayoral Election side quest.

Sundelions are incredibly common on most of the Sky Isles. Sun Pumpkins, on the other hand, can only be bought once players have completed The Mayoral Election quest in Hateno Village.
